Is the Chris waterproof?

Yes. The Chris uses a functional waterproof shell fabric that can withstand a 10,000 mm (10K) water column before being penetrated. Its seams are sealed with adhesive waterproof tape to help prevent water from entering through the stitching. The fabric is also finished with a DWR (Durable Water Repellent) coating, which changes the surface tension so water forms droplets that roll off rather than being absorbed.

How warm is the Chris?

The Chris is insulated with 100% Canadian Origin White Duck Down, one of nature's best insulators. Down offers better warmth than synthetic insulation at the same weight, and Nobis down has a fill power of 650 for dependable warmth without unnecessary bulk. The Chris Legacy jacket is designed for conditions down to approximately -15°C.

The 3L Micro Denier shell gives the Chris a lightweight, soft, and luxurious hand feel without sacrificing weather protection. Its Nobis Tech membrane is waterproof, breathable, and windproof at 10K/10K, while the Bluesign® approved shell incorporates GRS-certified recycled polyester. Paired with the Embrace membrane and seam-sealed construction, it helps this reversible puffer stay comfortable through wet, changing weather.
